Where our vision is deeply rooted in compassion and resilience. Inspired by the timeless wisdom that “Our patience will achieve more than our force,” we embarked on our journey in 1995 with a profound commitment to foster communities free from the influence of alcohol and substance abuse thereby advocating for social justice.
At ACHRD, we are committed for awareness on many social issues such as HIV, AIDS, Women and Child Health, Environmental Pollution etc. ACHRD has spearheaded numerous empowerment programs and actively supported initiatives like pulse polio immunization Swaach Bharat Abhiyan
The ACHRD drug / alcohol rehabilitation center is working for the last 25+ years in the field of drug/alcohol abuse.
Till then, through the tireless dedication of our staff, we have successfully treated over 12,500 beneficiaries, enabling them to lead sober lives. Our tailored treatment settings and comprehensive interventions address individual needs, ensuring a success rate of nearly 80%.

In 1999, we took a pivotal step by establishing a counseling center for alcohol and substance addiction. With the sponsorship of MSJE New Delhi in 2000, we inaugurated a 15-bed center for the treatment and rehabilitation of alcohol addicts, extending our services to rural areas through health camps.
In 2001, with the support of NACO, we launched AIDS awareness programs, underscoring our commitment to holistic community health.
Recognizing our impact, MSJE sanctioned the upgradation of our facility to a 30-bed center in 2002, marking a significant milestone in our journey.

ACHRD holds accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) for the period 2018-19. The Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) at ACHRD is endorsed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi. Samyama Award
ACHRD was honored with the prestigious “Samyama Award” by the Chief Minister of Karnataka in collaboration with the Karnataka State Temperance Board in the year 2017. This esteemed award recognizes our significant contributions to promoting temperance and combating substance abuse within the state, reaffirming our commitment to social welfare and community well-being.
